Red Bull will take over Toro Rosso

Red Bull are expected to take full control of Toro Rosso after Gerhard Berger sold them his 50% share of the team.

The deal is not yet completed pending approval by the regulators.

Toro Rosso was supposed to be a development team, but managed to perform better than Red Bull during the 2008 season, with Sebastien Vettel winning the Italian Grand Prix.

Red Bull are hoping that their Mark Webber will be fit to start the 2009 season, after being involved in a bike accident resulting in a broken leg.
