Malaysian Grand Prix
Things are changing in Malaysia. The regarded as super-modern Sepang International Circuit, where the Malaysian Grand Prix is held, received great reviews in 1999.
Nowadays, there are complains about the track, which is sinking due to the fact that it was build on top of a former swamp, and in 2007 Bernie Ecclestone said that the circuit was getting a bit tired and shabby from the lack of care.

It was announced in February 2008, that the Malaysian Grand Prix will be the second night race on the calendar, but it has been confirmed that it will be a late afternoon start rather than a night one.
Nevertheless, it is one of the unpredictable and interesting races, not only because of the weather – unbearable heat or big storm, but because of the many freak accidents that seem to occur on this circuit.
