Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Experience:

“We had a fantastic weekend at the Abu Dhabi grand prix!!! We drove from Dubai everyday and the journey was easy with the track and car parks well sign posted and well organised. We NEVER had to que for anything, car parking, shuttle buses, entrance to the circuit, entrance to the f1 rocks concerts all extremely well organised. A first class example to the rest of the world of how it should be done ”
S Holden

“This was our first time watching live F1 and it was amazing. Our view was superb and there was lots to do. Would highly recommend ”
Jim Grieve

“From first ordering the tickets to requesting additional information on the seating, and then parking tickets as well, the service received from bookF1.com was superb. The facilities at Yas Marina were brilliant – (however, there were NOT enough water stations which meant we had to buy water) – but transport to and from car parks was excellent – and watching Sir Paul McCartney under the stars after an exciting GP was close to perfect! ”
R Graham

“Second year running for us . This is the Monaco of the middle east and well done Abu Dhabi for showing the rest of the world how it should be done. Great off track entertainment as well SIR Paul Macartney was fab. Will opt for north stand next year”
Paul & Richard Kings Hill

“Fantastic views of race, great facilities but food quality and variety could have been better. Overall a very well organized facility, lots of guides to provide information and directions etc ”

Indian Grand Prix Experience:

“While the stands, parking and views were pretty decent there were still a lot of things that need improvement. I list some of these below.
1. More screens which are bigger – with one screen for one stand (I was in Classic West 2), it was impossible to see it from all the seats.
2. Better information and speakers – I had no clue what was happening, who was at what position etc.
3. Expensive – food and drinks were highly overpriced.
4. No indication of where toilets etc where, atleast in the stand i was in.
5. Parking – car parks were on sand that in some cases trapped a few cars. ”
Herschel

“The organisation for the circuit access was extremely disappointing. It’s not possible that from New Delhi downtown to the circuit it took us 4 hours and we got too late to the start. ”
Tomas Alonso

“The race was overall good, but the access to there was so poorly planned. It took us 3 hrs to get and 3 hrs to come back and it was chaos all over. The food stalls were high priced and below par food ”

Korean Grand Prix Experience:

“My ticket was for Jb but as this grandstand wasn’t finished I had to go to another stand. I can recommend stand F or G for views.

I would recommend taking a packed lunch. Mokpo good place to stay and I found a motel on Friday of race weekend just by the train station very easily.

Shuttle buses to the circuit were free and painless going in. However, getting back out was another matter. Mokpo buses were very infrequent, so be prepared to wait for onr. Traffic was a heavy, but not unexpected.

Despite it not being finished and the stop start issues due to rain, it was a great weekend! ”

Japanese Grand Prix Experience:

“Stayed in Nagoya for the weekend. Travelling to Suzuka Circuit Inou takes about an hour.

If you’ve got a JR pass, just get on the train and expect to pay 200 yen when you get off. The train station is very busy at the end of each day but they’re really well organised so the wait is acceptable.

Great atmosphere, big queues for food and toilets on race day, buy souvenirs early, they sell out fast. From my seat in E1, I could see 3 areas of track and a small video screen. It was a superb weekend, well done Jenson! ”
Nic, U.K.

“Having only spent just over a £100 on the tickets for the weekend I was worried about the view, however there was nothing to fear had an excellent veiw twice firstly as they went under the crossover and then again as they went over the crossover.

The organisation was amazing even on race day we were back in Nagoya within 2 hours. make sure that you have Cash with you as their is no ATM’s that accept UK cards in Susuka.

Japan is an expensive place to visit but worth every penny!”
Sweeney

“Long queues for the buses once you have left the train station. You can walk in about an hour if the weather is nice. Make sure your shoes are suitable to walk in as the distance from where the buses drop you off is still a short hike. Very little English at the circuit so be prepared, also programmes areall in Japanese.

Be prepared for wet weather, and I do mean prepared!

That all said it was a fabulous weekend with a cracking view of the first corner and the first crashes.

Enjoy ”
Allison

“Extremely well organised grand prix. Recommend booking a local hotel if attending more than one day. Suzuka circuit easily reached by rail from Nagoya. ”
