Fan Reviews:
“Awesome weekend. Made all the better by the fantastic race and perfect victory for Lewis.
Special mention to all the guys at the Elephant campsite and to Richard, Sue and Max who I met and sat with at the Bus Stop on Saturday and Sunday. Was great meeting you.
My first but most certainly not my last visit to Spa.
Roll on Monza!!”

“The Spa Francorchamps circuit never fails to provide exciting racing, and the seats at La Source are probably the best for viewing the race. They provide an excellent view of the start, the pits and the run down to Eau Rouge, even seeing the cars as they climb back up the hill. The covered grandstand is a lifesaver as rain is almost guaranteed.
For watching the race, this grandstand is probably the best to be had, however it is an old circuit and the facilities are perhaps lacking somewhat. The seats are quite cramped and there are only portaloos for toilets, not to mention the unreasonable cost of everything.
Then again, Formula 1 is never going to be a cheap weekend away!”

“Absolutely awesome experience. I had never been to an F1 race before and opted for Belgium for its history and fantastic location.
We chose to camp and the location (just literally 100 feet from the Les Combes corner) was superb, if a little muddy due to the vast amount of rainfall!
However the rain did not dampen our spirits and probably made the weekend alot more interesting!
I can highly recommend the Bronze general admission ticket as we were able to walk around the circuit and find a suitable position to watch the race from. ”

Webber preserved his growing championship momentum as he seized pole for the Belgian Grand prix in a typically rain-affected Spa qualifying session.
This means Red Bull have taken 13 pole positions in the 14 races this season.
But Hamilton delivered a superb performance to take second, ahead of Kubica.
Sebastian vettel wasn’t able to do better on his final lap and so ended up fourth in the second Red Bull, while world champion Jenson button did find time on his final run to snatch fifth place.

Formula 1 fans reviews of Belgian Grand Prix.
“We had an excellent time at the race. The tickets were fantastic and we had a great view. The race had a fantastic atmosphere. There were great facilities.”
“Absolutely sensational!!!
Set in beautiful countryside, everything you’ve heard about Spa being for propper race drivers and for proper race fans is absolutely true. I watched qualifying from the bottom of Eau Rouge and having been to Silverstone and Barcelona, this was far and away the most enjoyable individual experience.”
“Stayed in Bruxells which was excellent. We travelled by train to Verviers and bus to circuit. Trains were excellent bus was busy but no real fuss. Doddle compared to Silverstone.
Thoroughly enjoyed the weekend. Its full on traveling and walking but thats what its all about. Can’t wait to do it again money permitting.”
The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps (Spa), where the Belgian Grand Prix is held, is regarded as most driver’s favourite circuit. It is fast, dangerous and the weather is unpredictable.
It is not unusual for one part of the track to be dry and another wet.
This race must be quite special for Michael Schumacher and his fans. Schumacher made his debut here in 1991, won his first Formula 1 race in 1992 and was crowned a World Championship for the seventh time in 2004.
Spa has one of the most famous corners in Formula 1, the Eau Rouge. It used to be quite a challenge to go flat out and take the corner with a speed above 300 km/h, something that only the most stilled drivers were able to achieve.
Nowadays, with all the “modern touches” that a Formula 1 car has, it is the norm for most drivers to take the corner at such speed.
Belgian Grand Prix at Spa is one of the classic Formula 1 races and many fans’ favourite race to go to.
