Formula 1 2009 Season – What lies ahead?

Formula 1 is becoming as interesting off-season as it is during the actual racing season.

The allegation is that Formula 1 has become boring. May be not really, rather not as exciting as it has been or should be.

Already steps have been taken to improve overtaking and competitiveness for the 2009 season, and ultimately the viewing pleasure of all Formula 1 fans.

The slick tyres are making a comeback. New rules and regulations for engines and aerodynamics. And now there is a talk about a new scoring system via medals, replacing the current 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 points distribution.

Yes, it is not right that a driver can become Champion without actually winning a race, but at the same time the smaller teams really fight hard for those points and must be rewarded something.

The jury is still out. Seems like all teams, and all fans of course , are in fact in favour of changes. Still, more excitement and trill, but not at all cost.
