This hand crafted model is of the epic Ferrari 248F1, the car that the seven-time world champion, Michael Schumacher drove in his final Grand Prix.
The 2006 Brazilian Grand Prix, saw and epic battle between Schumacher and the reigning champion, Fernando Alonso. Poised to take the fight to Alonso, Schumacher suffered a puncture battling with Giancarlo Fisichella. Falling to almost a lap behind, Schumacher then charged back through the field, in a heroic attempt to win his eight title. The eight title eluded him, but his final race demonstrated why he is the most successful driver in the history of the sport.
This 1/8 scale replica is of that very car that raced in Brazil. From the grooves of the Bridgestone Potenza tyres, to the side-pod mounted mirrors, every detail is represented.
